About Me
Hello! I’m Rachel
Living with Crohn’s disease for 25 years has taught me how to fight for myself. I went to eight different gastroenterologists in Dublin, Ireland, because I knew there was no way my body was attacking me.
All of those GIs told me I’d be on meds forever and that IBD is a genetic condition where the body attacks itself. This is so false.
I knew I had to look beyond conventional medicine. So, I trained as a Nutritional Therapist at IHS, Ireland, and I went DEEP into the benefits of a holistic approach to IBD. I’ve been med-free for the last five years, and I’m teaching my exact method to everyone with IBD.
I got my life back, and you can too.
Watching my body slowly heal has been the most empowering journey ever. To experience the depths of pain and hopelessness with Crohn’s was something I thought would haunt me forever. But it hasn’t.
I’m not carrying fear of those 20 years of misery with me. 20 years of being on a cocktail of medications hasn’t imprinted in my psyche even though I expected it to. I’m amazed that the struggles of navigating Crohn’s are a distant memory. Those 20 years were the catalyst for me to take my health seriously.
I did the work that no one else could do for me and I watched my body slowly recover and heal is because:
- I committed to improving my mental health.
- I chose to go deep into emotional trauma.
- I chose to fuel my body with plants every day.
- I invested in people to help me.
The last four years of transitioning off meds and onto a path of overhauling everything in my life wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. It’s the best decision I’ve ever made.
Freedom is a worthy pursuit.
I’m trained as a Nutritional Therapist and Functional Blood Chemistry Practitioner. I focus on people with inflammatory bowel disease and anyone else interested in looking a little deeper into their health.
